Alba’s 540-kmtpy expansion ramp-up progressing as scheduled, on track for full capacity in early Q3

Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) announced today that 106 pots out of 424 have been successfully started at its new primary aluminum production potline in Bahrain (Line 6). This equates to 25% of the potline’s 540-kmtpy production capacity. Alba added that it expects the Line 6 expansion to reach 50% utilization by the end of April and 100% in early Q3 2019.
