Alunorte closer to a restart as civil embargo is lifted

The Brazilian federal court in Belem has lifted Hydro's Alunorte alumina refinery production embargo under the civil lawsuit; the embargo is still in place under the criminal lawsuit, but Hydro expects this one to be lifted soon. Bearish for alumina and LME aluminum prices. Hydro has declared that the refinery could reach 75%– 80% of capacity two months after being allowed to restart production.
